The American Express Phoenix Centurion Lounge is OPEN!

PHX Centurion Lounge is Open!

Welcome to Phoenix, American Express! American Express' newest Centurion Lounge in the Phoenix Sky Harbor International airport (PHX) was due to open in November 2019, but was unfortunately postponed due to unforeseen construction delays. Today, American Express fans and frequent PHX airport flyers can rejoice because the new, long awaited Phoenix Centurion Lounge is finally open!

Where the PHX Centurion Lounge is Located

The Phoenix Centurion Lounge is located in Terminal 4 on the upper level across from Gate B22. The new American Express lounge will be open daily from 5:30am to 10:00pm. The newest Centurion Lounge offers a total of 9,500 square feet of space and seats 240 guests. Just for comparison, the Centurion Lounge located at George Bush International Airport (IAH) is 8,500 square feet and the Centurion Lounge located at Miami International Airport (MIA) is 12,300 square feet.

Amenities

Just like all other American Express Centurion Lounges the food and drinks at the PHX Lounge are complimentary. The Mexican themed food selection is designed by local chef Doug Robson, and the Phoenix-inspired cocktails are fashioned by renowned mixologist Jim Meehan. The wine list was selected by New York-based sommelier Anthony Giglio. The PHX Centurion Lounge also offers plenty of different seating spaces, work spaces, charging stations, Wi-Fi, and shower suites. It should be noted that there is no spa or family room at the PHX Centurion Lounge.

Access the Lounge

To access the Phoenix Centurion Lounge you must hold an American Express Platinum Card or Centurion Card, either personal or business. Cardholders are eligible to bring in two guests. As of 1/30/2020 American Express Delta Reserve cardholders can also receive access, although they will have to pay $50 per guest and are only allowed to bring up to two guests in with them. Keep in mind that cardholders can only access the Centurion Lounges within three hours before a departing flight.
